On and Off

Inconsistency rules my blogging journey. Its on and off. Most of the time its off. Why? Perhaps due to inability to formulate my thoughts when i was about to write about something. Anyhow, I wish to once again started writing about my life. Anyone is welcome to read about me and my mind. I hope its not a waste of time. Heck, I don't really bother about what people would think because this is all about me getting my thought out.

New Workplace
Its not actually new by now. Its coming to 3 months since I move to another company. Through few unexpected encounter with the boss, he offered me a job with slightly high pay. I take this chance since I think this would hopefully get me to do more work in website development and sharpen my skill. There's no secret to be good at something. Its all about practice and more practice to perfect your craft. In his book, Outlier, Malcolm Gladwell point out that all those successful people have something in common. They have dedicated tremendous amount of time to be really good at something. 20,000 hours out of their earlier part in life was spend on things that they are now famous for. Success is hardwork.

So I am now focusing in not only web development but also marketing. I need to bring in new clients. I need to think this as my own business. Lot's of things i need to learn. Promoting my service, phone conversation, explaining web stuff to people, doing demo and many more that will stretch my self out or mediocrity.

I'll write more about my work next time.

Being A Successful Web Designer

Success. It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare
that they are difficult.

Those working in the creative field such as webdesign are in constant need to fill up their creativity repertoire. Be it by being inspired by others works at the sites like behance, deviant art, dribble etc. or simply by sharpening our jquery techniques. Aside from the tangible skills that one's have, there are other obvious factors that determine our success.
